This is a process that crawls through your entire hard drive, examining each file -- and the text inside it -- and making a database. Fix is simple: Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools double-click on Services scroll down the list to find Seagate Dashboard Service right-click on it and hit "Stop". All of those instances of chrome are normal, but like I said disable things that you don't need to start with windows from the startup.
